This is an observational study to define a set of differentially regulated secreted proteins in human cancer cells across all stages of cancer progression and correlate the results of the RT-PCR panel to the biological behavior of the tumor. They are going to Identify a set of 32 genes (including housekeeping genes) that encode for secreted proteins that correlate with disease progression using a bioinformatics approach & design probe sets for RT-PCR and run a pilot study both on FFPE and fresh tissue.
