Griffo et.al. conducted a study to understand if people with Primary Sjögren syndrome can have antibodies that target deoxyribonuclease I activity. The researchers concluded that a high level of Anti DNase I antibodies was related with elevated serum IgG levels and lack of this reactivity in Rheumatoid Arthritis patients without any symptoms of SICCA suggest that this antibody might be helpful in the differential diagnosis of these diseases.
