SLE Along With Hypertensive Disorders During Pregnancy Can Double The Risk of Cardiovascular Diseases

A recent report published in the journal of Arthritis Care and Research suggests that pregnant women with SLE who also suffer from Hypertensive disorders during pregnancy are twice at risk of developing a heart condition as compared to the woman who do not suffer from such disorders. The researchers found that these women were at a higher risk of developing Cardiovascular disease, particularly stroke.
