Is Thrombocytopenia in Cases of Primary Antiphospholipid Syndrome A Marker of High-Risk?

Antiphospholipid antibodies are generally found in immune thrombocytopenia and are not related to any specific sign or symptom. Even  thrombocytopenia is a common occurrence in Primary Antiphospholipid Syndrome patients. Furthermore in severe cases of Primary Antiphospholipid Syndrome thrombocytopenia is a result of thrombotic microangiopathy  i.e. occurrence of thrombosis in multiple organs.
